Accounting Clerk
Provide general accounting and accounts payable support including invoice entry, file maintenance, check run processing and payables research. In addition, the person in this position will be completing bank/cash reconciliations, payment clearing and cash research. Daily entry of accounts payable invoices. Weekly entry of manual payments (i.e. wires), assist AP Specialist with processing weekly check run, assist AP Specialist with payables file maintenance, backfill for AP Specialist position when necessary, complete payables research when required, assist with month-end accounts payable close, complete monthly/quarterly state sales tax returns, monthly completion of bank reconciliations for multiple accounts, clear cash transactions in Oracle system, assist Assistant Controller with cash reconciliation and research, complete accounting projects assigned by Assistant Controller on a as needed basis.
Qualified Candidates will have a minimum of 3yrs A/P and/or other general accounting experience or equivalent, Minimum of a High School Diploma or Equivalent required. Associates Degree in Accounting/Finance preferred. Accounting software experience required, Enterprise software experience preferred.
